Fourteen years ago, Vince and Chelle Caruso knew this equation to be true. Because they believed that they could implement these principles, they opened a small business during their last year of college. Having eaten at every sandwich shop from Utah to Texas, they knew what they wanted to create- and set out to make it happen. It did happen! Within the first year there were lines out the door. A year and a half later they moved into a new strip mall location, that was 4x the size. It was crazy busy!!

They knew that they were onto something! Now finished with school, the couple decided that they wanted to carry on with the business, and work to improve it. In 1996 the Caruso’s opened another location in the front of a trucking company and turned it into a thriving store.

In 1997 the Caruso family left the city, in search for a simpler life. Both of their stores were successfully sold, and the Caruso’s moved into a motor home to leave on their quest for a smaller town. Close to a year later the Caruso’s found Coeur d’AIene, ID. They fell in love with the area. They opened their new store in Hayden, ID, with the added ability of baking their own bread. The new store was rocking in months! In less than three years, they expanded their store to double the size. After five years of owning this thriving deli, the Caruso’s sold it to a long time employee and her husband. It is just as busy as ever today!

After spending years of working out the kinks to create a successful, turn-key business, we can help others achieve the same. We have put a lot of time, energy and thought into what it takes to run a business of this nature successfully. We want the franchisees to be more than successful financially. A family owned business is a lifestyle and a commitment for the whole family.

Our goal is to help people run profitable businesses that contribute to a healthy lifestyle for the owners, employees and community. We will work "hands on" with the store owners to ensure that successful operating policies and procedures are passed on.
