Successful companies are built on ideas, a good plan and sometimes on the unwavering belief in oneself. Vince and Chelle Caruso knew they possessed all three criteria when they decided to embark on their dream during their final year in college. The idea was simple. They wanted to create a sandwich company that would revolutionize the Quick Service Industry. Their plan was already in place because they had done exhaustive research into the industry and they knew exactly how to make their sandwich company a success. They believed with every fiber of their being that if they stuck to their principles and followed their own plan, their dream would become a reality.

Their first sandwich company was a huge hit within their first year and they duplicated that success when they opened their second store in 1996. They didn’t know it yet but they had just passed the first test of franchising, duplicating a successful concept. However, sometimes during the course of our lives, no matter how green the grass is ahead, we come to the conclusion we need to plot a different direction. In 1997, even though they were enjoying the success of their two growing businesses, the Carusos realized the personal side of their lives now required a simpler, quieter place to grow their family. They sold their two successful stores and spent a year searching for an entirely different kind of success, the perfect place to raise their family. Family has always been important to Vince and Chelle. That is why they treat their employees, and their customers, like family. Ultimately, their search landed the Carusos in a beautiful town in Idaho called Coeur d’Alene.

Happily settled, in love with their new community and in need of something to do, the Carusos took the first step of any franchise system when they opened their flagship store. Their Hayden, Idaho sandwich company was quickly even more successful than their first two but with an added new twist. They were baking their own bread. Two more successful sandwich companies later, they sold them all to an employee. This time they were not in search of anything new, they already had built their dream life and dream business. Now it was time to share it with the world.

Vince and Chelle devote all their energies to helping others achieve not only business success but also enjoying a balanced way of life. Their goal is to help people run profitable businesses that contribute to a healthy lifestyle for the owners, employees and community. Ultimately, their story is about a history to quality – quality food, a quality business and a balanced quality of life.
